film influence

I was raised in Hyderabad, a city where films are integral to daily life, with weekends organized around new releases, posters adorning every corner, and stories perpetually being talked about and experienced. Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam cinema were not merely watched; they were lived. It was there that I first learned to perceive emotion in the tiniest moments the pause before a change, the way a space can embody emotion, and the subtle gravity of a scene.
At the age of 23, I moved to London, bringing my perspective along. Beginning anew in a different city, particularly in this field, has not been straightforward. It required quickly understanding how things operate here in a more organized and dynamic way, all while staying connected to my roots.
Currently, my work occupies a space in between writing and production, between conceptualization and realization, and between the familiar worlds and those I am beginning to explore. I am still constructing and discovering, yet I consistently strive to produce work that resonates with the authenticity and depth of the stories from my upbringing.
